These Amorphous solar panels are much more affordable, but their energy effectiveness is also much less. So more square footage is necessary to produce the exact same amount of power as the Monocrystalline or Polycrystalline type of photovoltaic panel. Amorphous solar panels can also be made into long sheets of roof covering materials to cover massive areas of roofing surface facing south.
