TVI, also called Travel Ventures International: I started with TVI as the compensation strategy was excellent, the products sounded good, and the start up fees were inexpensive, merely a $250 one time fee.
Fairly quickly people I talked to saw the great prospective and they joined TVI too. As my group grew that is when the issues surfaced. First it was complicated to get transaction to the company. Second, no person knows exactly who owns the company and that was turning out to be problematic. But the biggest problem revealed was something that is concealed in the compensation plan. It is precisely how the boards separate which means your team splits away from you too. It was startling to see how quickly my team was on various compensation boards and my team was fragmented to such an extent that none of us might help each other.
Additionally when people from other people are on your board and they come to a decision to stop TVI or to refocus on their other positions on other boards then your board dies away. I immediately stopped recruiting into TVI as it instantly became clear that the TVI corporate entity would make so much money from people who started to be stranded on boards and the most of the people joining would not make profits, only the few at the top would earn the big profits. I feel like it is a TVI Express scam.
Pyxism: I was lucky to find Pyxism almost immediately. Obviously I analyzed their compensation plan more thoroughly to ensure they did not have the same issue with boards splitting and team fragmentation.
